We work to achieve social and economic justice by empowering low to moderate-income populations in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
Through shared values of inclusiveness and collaboration, we desire to reclaim a voice for Lawrence and advocate self-determination for its residents through community development initiatives such as affordable housing, financial coaching, and youth leadership programs.

Our 10-hr workshops help homebuyers create a roadmap to buy a house. We have both a live, Spanish workshop ($100), and an online English or Spanis + Includes credit report) workshop via FRAMEWORK ($100). Free counseling is available by appointment.

Credit Counseling
Do you have financial goals but trouble sticking with your plan? If so, participate in this FREE Financial Coaching. Our new Credit Builder program helps you improve your credit score.
Financial Counseling
ACT Lawrence helps families become financially stable by use of financial coaching, budget planning, and goal setting. This program consists of workshops and coaching sessions to help you achieve financial goals and dreams!
Landlord/Tenant Relationship Workshop
This is a two-hour workshop to provide overview of best practices and legal rights and responsibilities of the tenants and landlords. Workshops are led by real estate attorneys with expertise on many topics such as: obtaining an occupancy permit, types of tenancy, how to manage rent deposits, manage landlord/tenant communications and many others.
Homeownership Counseling
Provides free counseling along with other resources to help homeowners avoid foreclosure. The counseling supports clients in creating a crisis budget and complete the required documents to apply for a loan modification, forbearance plan or other foreclosure prevention methods.
