Homebuyer Classes
Our 10-hr workshops help homebuyers create a roadmap to buy a house. We have both a live, Spanish workshop ($100), and an online English or Spanish workshop via FRAMEWORK ($100). Free counseling is available by appointment. Class calendar is available in announcements page!

TAUGHT ONLY IN SPANISH
Our first-time homebuyer education classes seek to prepare and assist homebuyers in becoming savvy homeowners. In our class, future homebuyers will learn how to set goals and action plans to overcome common barriers to homeownership, some of which include credit, savings plans, and avoiding predatory lending. You will be assigned a personal counselor with whom you will meet one-on-one to help you create and follow an action plan to meet your financial goals.
Upon graduating from these classes, you will have gained the knowledge and skills to either purchase or begin saving up for the purchase of a new home. Keep scrolling to register for one of our in-person homebuyer classes!

STEP2: A staff will contact you to confirm date of the class and other details to process your $100 dollar payment.

Note: The nonrefundable fee for this class is $100 per person. This must be paid in advance to reserve your seat as our classes fill up fast.

Note: Cost of the class is $100 dollars, you will make 2 separate payments, once to Framework for $75 dollars before you start the course and another one $25 dollars to ACT Lawrence once you finish the course.
Step 1: Please use this link to fill out ACT Lawrence Intake:
Step 2: Once you have completed the ACT Lawrence intake form above please click the Framework logo to start the course registration process:
Step 3: Click on "REGISTER NOW"
Step 4: Complete the $75 fee payment and fill out the required information.
Step 5: Create your log in and start the course.
Step 6: Once you complete the course, please send proof of completion to iperdomo@actlawrence.org and make the final $25 payment by clicking the link below.
Step 7: After receiving the payment, and confirming you completed all the modules on Framework system, the agency will email you a survey and the One-on-One counseling session information.
Step 8: Once this is completed, your certificate of completion will be released to the FRAMEWORK SYSTEM within 48 business hours.
Step 9: YOU are responsible for printing your certificate from your Framework account and forwarding it to your lender.
